Privacy Policy

When you first open NearCrush, you may optionally provide the following information:

• Username
• A short description about yourself
• Gender
• Visibility preference (visible or invisible to nearby users)

This information is stored exclusively on your device's local memory. It is never uploaded to any server, shared with third parties, or processed by us in any way.

We do not collect:

• Email addresses or phone numbers
• GPS or location data
• Device identifiers transmitted to servers
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Any personally identifiable information

NearCrush requests the following iOS system permissions to function:

Bluetooth: Used to detect nearby users and display their distance in meters. Bluetooth communication is entirely peer-to-peer between devices. No data from Bluetooth interactions is transmitted to NearCrush servers.

Local Network (Wi-Fi): Used to discover and connect with nearby users on the same local network. No data from this connection is sent to NearCrush servers.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your iPhone's Settings app. Revoking Bluetooth will disable distance display; revoking Local Network access will disable nearby user discovery.

All data — including your profile, matches, and message history — is stored exclusively on your device. We operate no servers that store or process your data.

When you delete the app, all your profile information is removed from your device. A unique device identifier (Apple's identifierForVendor) may persist in local storage solely to support Premium subscription restoration via your Apple ID. This identifier is never transmitted to NearCrush.

Premium features are available through Apple's in-app purchase system. All payment processing and subscription management is handled entirely by Apple, Inc.

NearCrush does not receive, access, or store your payment information. When you make a purchase, Apple processes your payment data in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy). Your Premium status is linked to your Apple ID — not to a NearCrush account — and can be restored on any device using the same Apple ID.

NearCrush profiles are stored on your device. If you reinstall the app or switch to a new device, a new profile will be created automatically. Your previous profile cannot be restored, as it was never stored on a server.

Your Premium subscription can always be restored via Apple's "Restore Purchases" feature using your Apple ID.

NearCrush is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is intended for users aged 18 and older.

If we learn or have reason to believe that information has been collected from a user under the age of 13, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that such information is deleted. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through our app, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights. Because NearCrush does not collect, sell, or share your personal information, many CCPA provisions are not applicable in the traditional sense. However, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information (if any) is collected about you
• Delete any personal information we may hold
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Since all user data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us, you can exercise your right to deletion simply by deleting the app. For any privacy inquiries, contact us at [email protected].

Because NearCrush does not collect or store your personal data, we have nothing to share with third parties — for any purpose, commercial or otherwise.

The only third-party service involved in NearCrush is Apple's App Store and in-app purchase system, which handles Premium subscriptions under Apple's own privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of NearCrush after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
